The Trainer consists of a helicopter mock-up with movable exits/windows, that can be controllable ditched into the pool and able to rotate in both directions up to 180 degrees. The trainees are expected to exit from the ditched mock-up making use of Emergency Breathing System (EBS), and rescued from the helicopter’s cabin simulated platform above the pool.In the facility including the pool there are systems to simulate real environment like wave generator, daytime/night differentiation, wind and sea state effects. It provides required means for the OPITO certified trainings of the crew.
